Our Team

Ronnie

Vendor Curator

they/he

Ronnie is the face behind Grrlblk! They are a crafter or sorts and an event planner. They have tabled Trans Art Mart a handful of times, typically selling jewelry and other hand made adornments. When taking breaks from crafting they are typically planning and curating the events they want to see in the world like many of us! Events have ranged from mini art markets, qtpoc speed dating, cover shows and more! The main focus of these events is to create fun alternative spaces for all different types of folks to enjoy themselves with a hint of inner child-teen healing ❤

Seamone Farries

Vendor Curator

she/her

Seamone Farries is a gender-expansive creative who centers the axis of art and liberatory practice. She seeks to create artwork that represents diverse aspects of the Black queer experience. Seamone has been an active vendor in craft and zine markets for close to nine years. She has also been a vendor at TAM! Seamone’s goal is to build new pathways to make art and creative practice accessible to those most marginalized. Seamone works to build spaces that foster connection and healing through community, and artistic mobilization.

Newton Rogers

Vendor Curator

they/she

Newton is a visual artist and art therapist straight outta West Philly (before the gentrification) and now based in Port Richmond (again, before the gentrification). They have been a vendor at Trans Art Mart twice, representing their brand, UGLY CRIER PHL (formerly NWTN JMS), and a curator once. Their practice is inspired by their relationship to grief, gender, and the uncanny. Whether it is the glittering magic of Sailor Moon (see: their second queer awakening) or the sprawling mythologies of Lovecraft (see: their first queer awakening), their work embraces the strange, the tender, and the terrifying – creating spaces where survival, queerness, and imagination can thrive without apology.

Miller Potoma

Event Producer

he/him

Miller is a Philly-born white trans man and mixed-media artist who channels his passion for the community into his work as the Event Producer for Trans Art Mart. Having been with TAM since its founding in 2019, he handles everything from logistics and securing accessible venues to creating marketing materials—all dedicated to creating vital spaces for trans artists. Outside of TAM, he enjoys thrifting for unique leather goods, is a devoted fan of medical dramas, loves cuddling with his badly behaved cat, and spending time outdoors with friends.
